John J. Nance is the greatest adventure writer. He specializes in aviation thrillers but in this new book, the story focuses on one man's attempts to do the impossible......stop an earthquake.

Mick Walker has built a multi-million dollar resort on Cascadia Island, an area that seismologist believes to be unstable. Now as the opening of the new resort brings in all sorts of dignitaries, including the govenor, and Lam's fiance, pilot Jennifer, Doug must try to convince Walker and anyone else who will listen, that an 800 mile stretch of the Northwest may be facing an earthquake that could kill thousands, along with the tsunami that is sure to accompany it.
