Savananah was selectd by the Literary Guild and also appeared on the New York Times Bestseller List which said," Reading Eugenia Price ... is rather like sinkig into a large. old-fashioned armchair." The Savannah News-Press says, " A good, strong story... the Savannah of th early 19th century comes so sharply into focuc that I felt I actually have lived here during that time!" "Her finest story... impressive, states the Augusta Chronical. And author Pric e herself says that. "Savannah was her favorite endeavor to date" at the time(1983). This is number one in the "Savannah Quartette".
