Another enjoyable trip/read from Alexander McCall Smith with his 12th installment of the No. 1 Ladies Detective Agency series. Grace is planning her wedding and Precious is investigating a very disturbing case. Meanwhile, one of the apprentices in the garage is informed of some troubling news. As always, enjoyable read! If you've read any of the series, you will enjoy this one as well.

For me, this series is delightfully relaxing. I particularly enjoy the focus on people, their personalities, interaction and the acceptance of all by Mme. Ramotswe no matter who she encounters. This novel dwells on two tales - that of cattle whose legs are being cut off (Mme. Ramotswe's current case) and the marriage of her secretary-assistant, Grace Makutsi. And, of course, we learn more about Mme. Ramotswe's beloved white van. Fun, fun read!
