The first part of the book, when Sarah wanted Brock, but still kept refusing him, was very frustrating - I wanted to smack her. Then she finally made up her mind, and the sex is hot, & graphic. But these cowboy brothers are too macho dominant for my feminist sensibilities. And the storyline leaves you hanging - you just have to read the last (Marley's Choice) and the next(Heather's Gift) book in the series to know what's going on.

I pride myself in having an open mind but this book was NOT for me. I thought it might be along the lines of Colter's Woman but I was mistaken. The story was really sad and I was intrigued to find out why the brothers do what the do (I'm not giving it away). But to me Sarah was just not for Brock, I did not feel the connection between them and at times Sarah was just downright dumb.

I read this one and Heather's Gift. Heather's Gift just so so for me but THIS one is a keeper.
LOVED it and the character Brock. The first part again where they meet again in the bar is super hot total seduction.
A book I could read again and again.

Fantastic! Exciting drama. This is the second of three books. I am now reading the third and conclusion to the story: Heather's Gift. These are some of Lora Leigh's best works. Highly recommended.
It was an ok read, Not one of Lora Leigh's best tho.
