Another near flawless volume in a classic manga series. Contains what is probably the funniest story in the series--the tale of a pair of constantly fighting shopkeepers who are taught a lesson they won't ever forget by Kasajiro, Toothless Yoshichi, and Yamada Asaemon. The other tales are more typical of the saga, with reflections on life, love, and death, most notably the nearly wordless "Facing Life and Death". Worthy and worth it.
