The CD for this book has never been opened and is in great condition. This book is the same as SAMS Teach yourself C++ in 21 days, except this book contains extra chapters for Linux programmers and the examples use GNU gcc and show some compiler parameters. This is a great book for beginning C++ programming even if you don't have linux, and if you do use linux, then this book is a must. I loved reading this book.
NOTE: this book is in great condition, but does contain a few pencil marks and notes in the book. Not many, but a few.
