In 1999, a group of major food companies got together to decide what actions they should take, if any, to curb obesity and other health problems caused by eating too much processed foods. That is the premise of this book, which winds up reading more like a biography of certain major food products...Lunchables, Dr. Pepper, Cheez Whiz, potato chips, and others. I read this because I like reading exposes, particularly if they involve the food industry. This book was ok, but rather dry and somewhat monotonous.
