I loved "Yours Truly" and the cult classic "A Real Doll." The other stories were good, but not nearly as striking as those two. I suppose there's something for everyone there though, and those two were the only ones I connected with. Perhaps you'll like it more than I did?

WOW! An excellent collection of short stories that weave together the lives of several families. Homes is one of my favorite authors. She is a risk taker and it shows in her writing. A must read.

A book of 10 short stories about people with identity, sexuality, and/or psychological issues. I was only mildly interested in two of the stories, the rest contained forgettable characters and awkward situations that I felt no emotional connection to.
