This is a nice read, especially on an Autumn afternoon. It's just a collection of scenes from a life. Abigail Thomas is a very good writer, very graceful in her style. I have just started reading "A Three Dog Life", by Abigail Thomas and find the same graceful, observant style. You will enjoy "Safekeeping". I'm sure that a scene or two will remind you of your own journey through time.
