Attorney Scott Ellis is defending Lester Garrison, a 16 year-old accused of opening gunfire on a Sunday afternoon on a gathering of high-school students one Sunday afternoon. While fighting for Lester's freedom, Scott volunteers at Catawba High School and stumbles onto a tangible evil that is fueling a rage-filled hate to its breaking point. Scott quickly realizes the life and death nature of the escalating supernatural struggle, both at the school and in Lester's case. Deternmined to make his mark in this unpopular case. Scott throws himself totalyh into building a defense. There is darkness and evil in his client. Scott volunteers as a advisor for a mock trial at the High School and renews an old acquaintance, a teacher, his highschool "girl of his dreams". Should he pursue this relationship?
