This book is an Urban Fantasy. The story begins with Maliha Crayne she is an assassin of a demon. For centuries, until she called him out on the stipulation in her contract that states if she can save enough souls she will be free of him forever. She forms a group of friends who are part of a team she has formed to do right by humans. She has two missions in this story to save mankind from a terrible nano virus that another ancient has gone out of his way to use to take out mankind. Similar to the Ebola virus. Plus she is trying to destroy all the demons who keep people like her as slave assassins. Dakota Banks characters are varied and make you want to know them. This is her second installment of The Mortal Path series and I cannot wait to see what this great writers has in store for us next.
