  Lonely one
Your sacred sorrow
surrounds your heart
Like the slow haunting melody
of a lone cello
Intoxicating you
like a fine wine
Melancholy is your love
It distorts your perception
as your mind creates
an indifferent world
which mirrors your soul

Wonderful - I have experienced this but have never had it described so beautifully at the same time that it is telling you to snap out of it. Linda P.S. In case you care...surronds should be surrounds and mirrows should be mirrors. Spelling errors distract

I think this is your best poem so far--maybe something we've all experienced... (Okay--last typo--add the H to melancholy)
