Refreshing read--i very much enjoyed it. True story about basketball and the way to win, attitude and thinking of others. No vampire fangs, no men with their muscles in your face, no women falling out of the gown they are almost wearing. Nice change. I love true stories and this was a good read if your into any kind of sports.

From a small town in North Dakota to a champion NBA coach. This is the story of a man who never forgot his roots, ethics and more importantly...the truth that you can be a winner but have a "we" not "me" attitude. He teaches a deep respect for the spirit of the players. His team members are taught to play hard but without anger or violence. Respect one another is the essence of Phil Jackson. What a refreshing attitude in this day of win-at-any-cost 'sport'.
