A great book, though strange and weird as only Clive Barker can write.

This is a very special book... it's very demented, tortured, and at certain points sickening, but it's also a story about a man's quest to find himself, and to reunite with the man that created him.
This is not a book for the soft-hearted. It contains death, torture, abuse, magic, pain, hallucinations, and many other hard-to-stomach issues.
An awesome book if you can make it through.

This is probably Barker's most political work. He mixes his usual dark fantasy with some subtle musings on current social issues.
