Please use this thread to post thanks for the RAOK gifts, wishes granted, and anything else you are thankful for here on PBS.  Let's try to keep the ***RAOK*** and ***I Wish*** threads easier to check for wishes to grant and goodies to request.

Note: please be sure to thank people who grant your RAOK wishes. It's not necessary to do it here in the thread, if you would prefer to PM privately to let the sender know you received your gifts. Unfortunately, things do get lost in the mail. In addition, senders have mentioned that they have not heard from the people they have sent things to, and wonder if the items have been received. We hesitate to keep sending to someone who does not acknowledge gifts. If someone declines your request, that may be the reason.  Senders contact me in frustration, saying that they do not know if items are received and that it is usually the same people who do not correspond. Most have decided not to send to those requestors again. It is sad, but necessary to them. So please respond in some way.

I want to thank each of you who sent up prayers for my family, especially my brother Chuck.  Even though he is past his 3 year cancer diagnosis, he is looking good and feeling good except for the flu like symptoms on his chemo weeks.  On August 18th, Chuck got to walk his only child down the aisle for her wedding.  It was a special day for all of us to witness such a miracle.  Only the prayers offered up and the positivity that Chuck has in his faith have continued to keep him having a quality life.  Thank you so much!

Many thanks, Melissa, for the wonderful selection of craft paper and ephemera, which I received yesterday. I'm gonna have so much fun with all this!

I agree with Pat. Big thanks to the 'behind the scene's' ladies who keep so many boards going every month, year after year~~ I appreciate their dedication so that we all may gather and spread joy here~~   

I also got a postcard from Vicki- so glad to hear about your travels and especially the wonderful joy of seeing your brother walk his daughter down the aisle. Thank you for sharing your life with us here on RAOK.

Thanks to all that sent up prayers for my friend Phyllis after her bad car accident. Good news:  Phyllis got to go home from her long stay in rehab yesterday. They have home health care coming 3 days a week to help her with anything needed like bathing, etc. so her son won't have to help her with that. I'll go see her on Tuesday.
