If you like Ian Mcdonald's work, or if you're a fan of the whole cyberpunk/slipstream genre, you will absolutely adore this book. It's one of Ian's best novels about the nature of art, and what one man will go through to cast of his societal shackels. It's a phenomenal read, and my only gripe was that it was too short.
