Rush Hour French contains 10 lessons. Each lesson carries Jon, who wants to review his high school French because of the lovely Jacqueline, through his day. It (re)introduces colors, numbers, telling time, greetings, clothing, buying a ticket, phoning an office, days, months, seasons, office words, how to spell, food, morning hygiene items (toothbrush, etc.), ordering and paying in a restaurant, directions, shopping expressions, furniture and appliances, descriptive words for people, leisure activities, sports, and parts of the body.

I listened to it while I drove. I kept the book, which is really just a transcript, on the passenger seat and consulted it when I stopped if I wasn't able to make out a word in the conversation. What I particularly liked about this program is that it portrays people actually having short conversations and uses songs to (1) increase the repetition and (2)aurally introduce phrases that the listener is not expected to be able to pronounce yet as well as including sections of "repeat after the tape" exercises.
