Long, compelling, and dark it was wonderful to spend time in the world of Strike and Robin again. We get to see more of the lives of the secondary characters and the mystery is as twisty as ever. Robin is undercover inside the cult for a long time and very bad things happen, so be forewarned that this might not be the best choice for reading right before bed. At 945 pages, it will take a while to make it through, but I'm glad I did.
