Enjoyed this one quite a bit, even though the author banged up the heroine repeatedly (heroine is a cancer survivor & that struggle is mentioned throughout the book as she's kidnapped, shot at, attacked, poisoned, etc.).

Despite more time at hospitals than I like in my recreational reading, I enjoyed the interplay btwn her & the hero. He was extremely supportive throughout, though wouldn't ex-military & a current pi carry a weapon?

Recommended if you want a well-written, clean romance packed with danger.
