I suggest you start with book 1 before reading this one, this one will refer back to book 1 because it gives the background and how this series starts with Mike Gannon.
Ledwidge co-writes with James Patterson and I don't always like those books but I recommend this series if you want ACTION, maybe the story will be a little over the top but I think it's well written.
