Rumpole-the lovable, irreverant, claret-swigging Wordsworth-spouting criminal lawyer (or Old Bailey hack) appears again in seven new stories.

If you like John Mortimer's Rumpole of the Bailey stories, this book will be a treat. There are 7 short stories in this collection. Each is filled with Rumpole's trademark character & includes characters well loved by Rumpole fans. I highly recommend this collection to current fans & to those who are new to Rumpole's special view of British law.

My Rumpole reviews are all the same, I love these books but I've read them so many times and it just time to let them go and bring in some new stuff. I only have so much room for books. If you liked one Rumpole you'll like them all.
