I was intrigued by the unusual plot: a teenager and her family caught up in the tangle of the Witness Protection Program. With her family falling apart around her and fed up with all the secrecy, Meg is determined to find some answers. When she decides to run, the story lost its steam for me because it was such a stupid thing to do. Still, insight into the hardships and dangers families face when in hiding was fascinating. 3.5 stars.
