The village girl stiffened. She had heard gossip of the baron's predilection for using a cane, and wondered if she was about to find out the awful truth behind those rumours. He was reportedly a man of principle â" a man who took his responsibilities very seriously â" but he was also known to glean inordinate pleasure from wielding his cane. Recalling some of the tales she had heard, the girl trembled beneath his imposing frown.
The baron reached forward and caressed her breasts, and unlike the attention she had received from the wiry serf, the baron's touch was loaded with excitement and sensuality. Rather than simply mauling her, his was the inquisitive caress of a practiced lover. His fingertips engendered raw arousal and silently promised even greater pleasures if she allowed him to continue.
âYou think I should stripe her backside?' he mused. âWhat an entertaining proposition.'
The village girl groaned, but the sound was lost beneath the roar of approval that came from the rest of the party...

The village rests in the shadow of a castle.

Oft told stories recount the depravity the castle once harboured; the decadence that cursed its foundations, and the dark, sadistic rituals that continue within its walls.

Rumours say the castle's monstrous owner, a cruel and twisted creature, still lives within the mouldering keep. Rumours say, on the night of each full moon, this cursed beast is driven to steal a wench from the village. Rumours say, once a helpless girl is in his power he will cruelly exploit her until she screams for mercy.

And so, when sweet, chaste Ruby becomes imprisoned in the castle, she knows she will experience pain, suffering and humiliation, but the outrageous demands of her gaoler go beyond anything she has heard from the village tales.
