I really enjoyed the first book in this trilogy but not the 2nd, so I it took me a long time to pick this one up. I'm so sorry I waited! It's true there isn't much depth, but it's a fun, quick read and a nice ending to the series.

I read this one first and immediately wishlisted the first two. It is a light, laugh-out-loud kind of book. Not much depth to the story, just a quick easy read that makes you laugh.

I'm really glad that I got this book using only a PBS credit.
It's never a good thing when an author has problems creating a new, unique character that isn't the same as so many before her, and this book is no exception. Nicole is Betsy/Fred/Caitlyn all over again. So, you won't find a lot of surprises.
This book also manages to waste a lot of paper with it's wide-spaced print, blank pages between chapters and even a chapter that only has 3 lines in it. I can honestly say that I couldn't put it down though. Because it was such a short book, I didn't have the time.
I guess I keep reading MJDs novels hoping that they'll be as enjoyable as when I first started reading her Betsy series, but after awhile, all the repetition has gotten annoying. This one was tolerable with a few quick laughs, but nothing that made me laugh out loud. I doubt I'll ever purchase a book by this author again, but luckily there's PBS, so all I have to do is use a credit and not feel like I've wasted a lot of money on a bum book.

Great book, most sets that have more then two books to it kind of get redundent well this set dose not. It just gets better and better.

I'm so sad that this series is over. I love the lives of these wild and extremely funny Alaskan Rurals.
