My son took no time at all finishing this book. He is 8 and loved it. He was very eager to start the next one. He was actually surprised that this action/adventure/fantasy story was written by a female. That just made me laugh uncontrollably.
this book was good but not for older kids it is more for kids 11 and younger.
"The stream flows down from the mountain." says Bronden..."so the problem must be up there. Up there, something is amiss. Something is stpping the flow."
All eyes turned to the mountain rising high above the village, it's tip shrouded as always in cloud.
"We must climb the mountain and find out what it is, " Bronden went on. "This is our only chance."
"No!" Neel, the potter, shook his head. "We cannot climb the mountain. Terrible dangers await anyone who dare. And at the top - the Dragon."
