As mt profile says, I read a lot of different kinds of books and lately, I've been on a romance kick after years of not reading these; reading mostly memoirs and nonfiction.
I didn't expect to like this one at all, (I get the 4 month shipment), mainly because of his name - Rourke and being set in Canada. I tend to favor books set in the USA. But this was actually a good story. I felt bad for Annie and her problems and I think the author did a good job with the story. Personally, I wouldn't have put this book under the "Blaze" line, perhaps the Desire line. So that's my warning to you, that if you're looking for hot and steamy details, it's mild compared to some I've read. I'll be looking into more books from this author.
