THIS HAS BECOME ONE OF MY FAVORITE AUTHORS,HER BOOKS TAKE NO EFFORT,YOU GET SO ENGROSSED THEM THE PAGES JUST TURN QUICKLY.
Terrific book two in a series. She does a smooth job of updating those who have not read book one without boring those who have. Looking forward to receiving the next one.

This book had a slow start for me. I didn't think I would like it but by the end I was captivated and did cry a few tears in the last chapter. If you've read the others in this series, don't miss this one.

the second in the elm creek quilters series. as with the first, i'm a bit disapointed that the characters don't seem to grow emotionally fromtheir experiences. big "problems" are presented, but the resolutions just seem to be glossed over. not sure if i'm willing the pursue any more in the series.

A book quilters would enjoy, but I also enjoyed the story and I don't quilt. It is a light read. This book is the second in a series but you can follow the story line even if you didn't read the first one.

I stumbled into the Elm Creek Quilter series last fall and love them! I toy with the idea of quilting and the stories have the love of quilting woven in them. Round Robin is the second of the series and every bit as enjoyable as the first. Even my neighbor who does not quilt or sew enjoyed the books.

This is another in the series by Jennifer Chiaverini. Each is a complete story, but they have some of the same characters. Very good story & if you enjoy quilting, you will like it even more!

I don't quilt but still found this a wonderful story.
Really enjoyed this 2nd book in the series. You get to know more of the background stories of all the characters and see how perspective really makes a difference in understanding people.
In keeping with the other books in this series. I haven't found one yet that I didn't like.
I loved this book as much as the first one in this series. The characters in this book are so very real. The struggle of relationships brings you the reader into the story. I felt like I had experienced those struggles, if not personally, then I was surely one of the Elm Creek Quilters.
2nd in the Elm Creek Quilters series. Heartwarming stories about women and their complex lives.
I have really enjoyed this series so far. This book is about friendship and family
As a quilter I enjoyed the book for two reasons. One, being, of course, the quilts but also how the book's characters seem to thread their personalities with everyday joys as well as problems via their friendship through quilting. This is a set of Jennifer Chiaverini books I've been meaning to read for some time. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.
I like Jennifer Chiaverini's writing and am enjoying this quilt series. Her first was very good and I like this one even more. It is nice to be able to find out more about the characters from Bk 1.
great combination of historical fiction, relationships and the love of quilting.
I am really enjoying this series. Just enough plot and humor to keep you reading. Thanks to all my 'book swap' friends I am going through the series. The characters are so believeable and the common thread of quilting tidbits add a special element.
This is a book that you will not want to put down. This is a story about womens' lives both individually and in a group. There is a great group of characters, but the most interesting and outstanding are Sylvia and Sarah. It is fabulous reading because it keeps your interest up under the end of the book.
the elm creek quilters have begun a round robin, a quilt created by sewing concentric patchwork to a central block as it is passed around a circle of friends. led by sarah mcclure who came to waterford, PA with her husband matt a few years earlier, the project is their gift to their beloved quilter sylvia compson. but like the most delicate cross stitch, their lives are held together by the most tenous threads of happiness. and they can unravel. each woman will confront a personal crisis, a painful truth, or a life changing choice.
So many stories interwoven in this novel. It was a great read. Chiaverini gets her characters right on as I know people just like in the book.
A group of quilters held together by their love of needlework find that they can deal with truth and crisis together as they make their crazy=quilt. Warm, loveable characters weave us into their lives.
I love all the Elm Creek Quilters books!
good reading. part of a series.
Number 2 in the series.
