Sweet, sad, adoring book. The story of young love and the will to go on. I loved this book because it was so different of any book I have ever read!
One of Lurlene McDaniel's best
I have read, litterly EVERY one of Lurlene's books. Even though they are all really sad and sweet I had NEVER cried when I read anyone of them, untill this one. This was her BESt book she wrote, its a sweet story of true friendship and true love and dedication. I LOVED it SOOOOOOO much!!
This book is about a sick girl and it's especially interesting to read because it's in email and message forms.
This is a cute quick read about a boy and girl that meet in kindergarten and become fast friends and realize that they love each other as they grow older.
I enjoyed the book and definitely cried during the sad parts (and yes there are many sad and happy parts)

I loved the unique way this story was told-through emails, instant messages, doctor reports, diary entries, video tapes, phone conversations etc.
The story discusses the relationship between two young schoolmates, Melinda and Jesse. Melinda aspires to be a ballerina and Jesse wants to grow up to do something worthwhile with his life-he just doesn't know what yet.
We follow Melinda and Jesse through a divorce, moving away, Melinda's ballet education/career, as well as her leukemia, and how it influences Jesse's decisions as well as his life.
