This is the first in the series of Byrne/Balzano, I'd already read the next two in the series and they are much better than this one but a series has to start somewhere.
This was kind of bogged down with too much 'getting acquainted' stuff about their personal lives but yet I guess it had to get all that in somewhere. For me it made the book kind of boring so I skipped and skimmed a lot to get past all the unnecessary descriptions and get on with the main story.

Fast moving thriller.

I loved this book, it was fast paced and had me on the edge of my seat! This was my first read of Richard Montanari's and it won't be my last.
