This was a good book - but not great. It does have a lot of sex but I didn't think the story flowed well. It was kind of choppy. I was expecting something more like "Sam's Creed" by Monica McCarty and it wasn't even close to that. The main male character orders the female around but not in and especially good way. At least that's the way I saw it. As far as the author, Kate Pearce, I've read two of her other books. Because of those two, I would read some more of her writing. If this was the only one I'd read, then I would really have to consider if I would read another one of hers.

Enjoyable read! It has lots and lots of sex scenes but it also has a story. Helen has drama going on with her job and a possible promotion in the works while Jay is trying to accept the loss of his rodeo days and forging a new career plan. They are both very strong willed and learn alot about each other and themselves along the way. Their sexual chemistry burns up the pages so be prepared for that! This book is hot!

Kate Pearce is a fine writer, I prefer her historicals to this modern western though. This was much better than the first of the series WHERE HAVE ALL THE COWBOYS GONE? The characters are troubled and the sex is hot.
