This is about a girl in her thirties with a less than perfect past. She goes home to live with her mother and gets involved in solving a abduction. She has some challenges along the way including a scorned woman/homicidal house guest wanting to find the man who ran out on her, a charming man she falls for, a religious mother who was imprisoned when she was adolescent, and interesting and alarming clues to the missing "groom" who is the talk of the town and her mothers church. I enjoyed this book. This is first in a series.

I really enjoyed this book. It was a good clean cozy. Lots of Christian influence to it. I would recommend it to someone looking for a mystery with clean language in it. Ruby was a pistol too. A very enjoyable read
