Wow, this story line had so much potential, but it was lost in all the conversation between the main subjects. Other story lines were started but just disappeared without any further discussion. The first time I've been disappointed by a Diana Palmer book.

This is a reissue of a 1994 release. 100% wallbanger!! So bad, I couldn't even finish it.

Another good Diana Palmer book. Sterling is the local sheriff, Jesse is on the run. Problem is, she looks exactly like a girl from Sterlings past. Sterling has been accused of killing the girl but it couldn't be proved. Everyone thinks the girl is back when they see Jesse. Sterling can't decide if Jesse is the girl or an imposter. Jesse has two different people after her who both want her dead. She thinks she's safe living with the sheriff. That could be debatable. Its' a good story. You should read it.
