Being married to Blake Williams had been an amazing adventure for Maxine. Brilliant, charismatic, and wholly unpredictable, he made millions and headlines as a dot-com entrepreneur. But his work and his never-ending quest for fun kept him on the move, far away from Maxine and his family. For five years, Blake and Maxine have worked out an odd but amicable divorce, with friendly visits, a yacht that he lends her every summer, and three children they both adore. Blake enjoys his globe-trotting lifestyle while Maxine raises their kids and pursues her work as a world-renowned expert on childhood trauma and adolescent suicide. Then everything changes.....
For Maxine, it starts when she falls in love with Dr. Charles West, who is everything Blake is not--mature, grounded, and present. For Blake, it begins when a devastating earthquake strikes near one of his palatial foreign homes and leaves hundreds of children orphaned. Now Blake wants Maxine as a partner in a humanitarian project that could change countless lives. For Maxine, the choice is clear. But Blake's sudden transformation--from carefree playboy to responsible grown-up--raises questions she's never managed to answer....and some she's afraid to ask.
An unforgettable story of two people pursuring happiness from opposite directions, Rogue is a journey of choices and the amazing opportunities that come together--just when life seems to have been successfully rearranged at last.

From the first chapter you knew how the book would end. I wish I wouldn't have wasted my time on this book.
I enjoyed this book but think the ending was a little crazy. Otherwise as terrific book that kept me guessing.
Loved this book. Typical Danielle Steel, but still a good read.
I just finished this book. I was sooooo good. It is the new Steele book and is first time in paperback. I quess that is why the cover doesn't show. If you like Danielle Steele you'll love this book.
Good, fast read. I enjoyed the book and how it flowed.
Danielle Steel does it again in this quick reading novel about a psychiatrist single mom, and her ex husband (The Rogue). The story takes place in New York City with some visits around the world. The characters are at different stages in their parenting and careers (if you can call her ex husband's a career), and appear to want different things in life, so their choices are hard at times as they try to make their family work. IMHO, if you like Danielle Steel, you will love her newest book, "Rogue"! Danielle Steel cannot write her novels fast enough for me!!
Well, I finished this one, but only by skipping the scenes where Charles is having his temper tantrums. I cannot believe that Max, being a psychiatrist and all, did not see through him from the first tantrum, when she decided to go to Morocco, this guy did nothing but complaint and nag. Blake never showed any proof that he had changed. The dust jacket blurb is misleading.
wonderful feel good story.......liked the characters too
finished in 2 days, it was that good. recommend it

I could have almost predicted the ending but I still enjoyed the book.
Love Danielle Steel and this was a great book.
Another good book by Danielle Steel, what can I say. It was a surprise ending and I can say I was upset with part of the story especially the boyfriend.
Predictable Danielle Steel read. It was good and very quick to read.
