Will Rogers is an interesting person and part of American History. He is an enigma.HE was raised on the Cherokee Reservation in Oklahoma by a dad who was 1/8 cherokee and his mother was 3/8 cherokee. His father represented the Indians in the state legislature for many years and also individually helped many Cherokee but personally tended to go the white mans ways. His parents had 8 kids but only 4 children lived, 3 older sisters and Will was the only Boy. His father was an excellent businessman and gave away a lot too. Will was a very generous person as well. AS a child, although his father sent him to excellent schools Will was more interesting in riding horses and roping. His dad feared Will was a failure. But Will learned to pick himself up and go on and Became a professional showman , comic, reporter, actor and sought after public speaker .He was a great icon of American History.

Will had faith in God and he did much to help the suffering during the Great Depression. This is an excellent and well written biography.
