If you are a lover of Civil War history, and are intrigued with Stonewall Jackson and would also like to ride with him, I recommend this account written by the youngest member of Gen. Stonewall Jackson's staff. Henry Kyd Douglas was wounded 6 times yet survived the war. He was fortunate enough to have lived near Harper's Ferry so that his recollections, that he set down shortly after the end of the war, span the early dawn to the sunset of the the Civil war.
