great book about Robin Williams!

I love Robin Williams, so I got this book hoping for an insightful biography of a man I consider to be a genius. And it is insightful, but it's immediately obvious that the book is written mostly from what has been culled from various interviews (with the author or others). The author states immediately that this is an unauthorized biography, and though it's written favorably and kindly, somehow I wanted a little more -- it would have been illuminating to read some direct quotes from Williams himself. However, had that been my only aim, I might have chosen a different kind of book.

It's interesting, anyway.
