To say that this book is fast-paced would be an understatement! Jon Smith, Covert-One operative for the White House is also a bio-molecular scientist as well as an army lieutenant colonel, and is attending a scientific conference in Taiwan when he is ordered by his White House handler, to go to a small island and retrieve a manifest for a cargo ship heading from China to Iraq. Seemed to be a simple enough assignment, but was only the beginning of this harrowing story. The agent he met was gunned down right in front of him and he barely escaped with his own life, and without the document he went there for.

This important document was the crux of this whole story....everyone wanted it!!

I could hardly put this book down! If you like spy thrillers, please pick this one up.
