If the American Midwest, irrigation concerns or environmentalism generally is your area of interest, this book must be considered a an addition to your library. While it is lengthy and its time line in-congruent, the messages and importance of key movements evaluated are essential to understanding the complexity and lengthy struggle of the residents in the arid deserts of America for farming justice to fulfill their desired destinies of manifest destination.
