Fro those living in Western Mass the sceneis the French King Bridge. The author lives in Amherst and writes about the impact of tragedy on two close families. A lovely but poignant tale.

This was a most unusual tale of 3 kids growing up together, ending tragically with the death of one of them when he was 20 years old. I never felt connected with any of the characters...their reactions seemed somehow not "normal" for the circumstances. It held my interest, if just to see the outcome...
