This book gives the background history of where the word "teenager" came from. It discusses why and how the word teenager has corrupted our youth. This is a great read for Criminology students who plan on working with juveniles.

Slow read, but proves that our government is wasting the time of teenagers by mandating high school and how they are segregating teenagers from the real socialization with all kinds of people that they really need to grow.

This book is very interesting. Its main argument is that the social construct of a 'teenager' is no longer relevant in today's society. a good read.
