This is a fabulous and satisfying mixture of a scifi/fantasy story with excellent characters and a fast plot line. That is not to say it is a fast or easy read.
The scheming and twists and turns in this story are what make you keep turning the pages as quickly as you can. I have come to be very fond of Annon, Giyan, and Riane.
I have ordered the two next books in this trilogy and cannot wait to dig in!

First book of the new fantasy series by author of the Sunset Warrior series and the Ninja series. It's detailed and engrossing world is full of the fantastic and intriguing. It is all we've come to expect from Eric Van Lustbader.
