This was a good read and was informative. Worth reading if you want to hear his side of what happened regarding the accident.
Terrific book. As a home school mom who has no experience with military life, I not only could hardly put the book down, but gained a lot of insight into not only military life in general, but also what happened in this incident that I remember from the news.
True story, excellent book
Aganist the advice of his lawyer, and aganist the direction of the Navy. Scott Waddle followed his conscience. He stood for what he believed in, when the terrible tragedy of the Sub collided with the japanese fishing boat, in feb.2001. This book will absolute make you cry. It is so heart wrenching of the sorrow he went through. When the Navy barred him from the Sub he was in command of, and it went out to Sea again, with him standing on the shore watching and saluting....a very very good book. Have read it twice, and been read only by me. New Book.
