A very unusual but riveting story. The main character, a woman, is instantly likeable and I found myself pulling for her throughout. She suffers from PTSD due to a recent trauma in Afghanistan. The only drawback was the fact that the dog did not appear until halfway through. Overall, a good book...well written by one of my favorite authors.
