Sorry I missed this series when it first came out. The lead character, Sgt. Marian Larch, works out of a NY precinct saddled with a partner who's putting in his time and not thrilled about being partners with a woman. When faced with a quadruple murder she has to do battle with her own partner, her publicity loving captain, the major crimes squad who would love to take the case away from her and the FBI in order to solve the crime. A definite A+ for this one.
