We all know who Stephen King is, He is the King of Horror or used to be.
I listened to this story Narrated by Josh Hamilton, who seems to be King's chosen Narrator. This is a short 2 cd set about a college student who hitch hikes about 100 miles to go see his mother in the hospital. Set in Maine, so some of the characters get the Yankee accent.
Despite Kings earlier career of being a horror writer, I really think this audio was worth the time. I did not find it to be horrific, or horrible. I actually found it to be quiet profound. I loved the last line, but I cant tell you what it is or it would ruin it for you. So yes, read this or listen to this and enjoy the ride.
