A decent introduction to Wicca, but a bit fluffy for those in the know. Good starting material, just don't limit your exposure of Wicca to Ravenwolf. If you're just starting, try The Everything Wicca and Witchcraft book.

This author is generally held up as fodder for the flame by most experienced pagans. This book is one that has some decent information hidden in a glossy, insta-witch format. While a newcomer to paganism or Wicca might find some areas in this book helpful, there are more areas that can ultimately cause disillusionment and confusion.

This book is a very good book for those whom just started learning about
Wicca and Witchcraft. It provides the basics for most aspects of magickal study, ritual work, and mental exercise. But be careful not to limit yourself to this one source.

This is a really good book for those beginning in the earth-based religion. Some find this book a bit fluffy, but it does explain things easily.

The author is not a responsible teacher. This author goes so far as to tell children that it is fine to lie to their parents.
Dates in this book are incorrect. If simple things like that are incorrect, I think that speaks for the other glaring inaccuracies that are also enclosed in this book.
Any literature from this author should be avoided.
I would recommend "Magic of Believing" by Ted Andrews instead.
