Rick Steve's book is a lifetime travel adventure through writing & postcards. He shares visiting passage through Holland via Amsterdam; along the Rhine via Munich & other cities; Venice & Florence, Rome & Vernazza in Italy; through the Alps; and in Paris, France. The characters you'll meet are Marie-Alice, Parisian restaurateur; Olie, The Alpine village schoolteacher; Walter, the grumpy innkeeper; Sultry Antonella, the Italian; and other various characters. Steve's shares comical details of his travels: language translations most travelers experience than make a person laugh, people's character eccentrics.., and other various oddities. A good and fun read about travel adventures.
