This collection ties in well with other views of history. It presents a personal analysis of sorts about the motivation of these early leaders that is helpful in understanding their values. A great supplement to other readings that present a view from a perspective of fact and practicality. Good insights into the background beliefs and reasoning that possibly support why and how certain events/actions came about.
An interesting and enjoyable read about some lesser known recesses of American history.
