Fern Michaels is truly one of my favorite authors. That being said, I'm tired of all her "women seeking revenge" storylines. This is why I'm not a fan of the Sisterhood books at all. This book is not part of that series but does deal with the revenge issue. It was better than the Sisterhood series but still not as good as some of her earlier books. Fast read as it is repetitious in parts as the characters repeat their stories word for word several times, which actually seemed odd, like perhaps trying to stretch the book out for more pages?? This was just okay, not her best but also not her worst.

The story tugs at you, and has you hoping for the best. It starts out really well and ends good also. The main character, in my opinion, just did not think about something so simple, that for me it was hard to really get back into it towards the last couple of pages due to that act. This was an okay book, I was not a huge fan of it. It was worth reading just to say you read it.

Really enjoyed the storyline. It was a nice change of pace from the sisterhood series (which is awesome). I really liked how in the beginning the story grabbed me right away so I have a very hard time putting it down. There were a couple of places where it sort of repeats itself.
