Yet Flanagan, endorsed by heavyweights from GOPC to the Washington Post, is the odds-on favoritew to take the White House...until the night Flanagan and his life-long friend, campaign manager Larry Constantino, take a commercial flight to a Miami governors' convention. Without warning, the airliner malfunctions, crashing into the murky Everglades. Flanagan survives, but finds his friend's corpse impaled on a jagged shaft of wreckage. Torn by unbearable anguish, Flanagan reaches out to his friend...and brings Constantino back to life!
